With effect from 1 September 2022, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad (Bank Islam) welcomes Firdaos Rosli as its new Chief Economist. Dr. Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid is succeeded by him.
Firdaos graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Lancaster University in the UK (UK). The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where he was a Chevening Scholar, awarded him a Master’s degree in Public Policy. Additionally, Firdaos has a Business Foundation Program diploma from St. Andrew’s College in Cambridge, UK, and a diploma in public administration from the National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN).
